Lucy Clearwater
Lucy Clearwater is a Los Angeles–based folk/Americana singer-songwriter who writes songs the way some people keep journals. Honestly, carefully, and with a deep respect for feeling. With a background in classical violin and a sound rooted in acoustic instruments and human-scale storytelling, her music carries emotional clarity, wit, and the warmth of California folk traditions.
A 2024 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Competition winner, Clearwater has spent the last several years on the road, touring across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe. She's often seen sharing stages with her friends and fellow artists such as John Craigie, Victoria Canal (as both support and band member), Ye Vagabonds, Joe Pug, Martin Luke Brown, Luca Fogale, Ocie Elliott, and others.
Her debut album, "People ≠ Possessions" arrives May 14, 2026, produced by Grammy-winner Tyler Chester and recorded mostly live to tape at Bell Choir Studios in Los Angeles. Featuring contributions from her vibrant creative community including Madison Cunningham, Kenneth Pattengale (The Milk Carton Kids), Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), Rob Moose, Harrison Whitford, Hayden Everett, Drew Taubenfeld, Monica Martin and many more, the record reflects Clearwater’s belief that music is something handmade, shared, and meant to be lived with.
Lucas Lawson
Lucas Lawson is a singer, songwriter, and gatherer of friends who help to bring his harmonious music alive. Having grown up on a small organic farm just north of Santa Cruz, CA, Lucas and his songs are rooted in the balance and connection of all living things. He first learned to play the guitar at the farm’s barndances, strumming alongside local bluegrass group, The County Line Pickers.
Flowers on the Road and This Dirt were recorded at Quilted Fish Studios with engineer Mike Formenti and features other local musicians. Lucas also works at Quilted Fish as a producer and engineer himself, bringing other musician’s visions to fruition.
He is passionate about helping others find their musical voice whether through teaching, producing, or accompanying other musicians. To Lucas, music is much more than sound. It is a powerful tool for change, a means for connection, and a source of love -- all of which are woven into the cadence of his songs. Each one is an outstretched hand, inviting us to experience this wild, beautiful life together.
